POLICY for staying

In accordance with our accommodation regulations, all guests are required to follow the rules below to ensure a safe and comfortable stay for everyone.
Failure to comply with these rules may result in restricted use of facilities or liability for any damages incurred.
1. The use of fire in guest rooms for heating or cooking purposes is strictly prohibited.
2. Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the entire building. A penalty equal to three times the accommodation fee will be charged if violated.

3. Please do not touch the fire extinguisher unless in case of emergency.
4. Please refrain from causing disturbance to other guests, such as singing loudly or making excessive noise.
5. The following items are not permitted in guest rooms:

Animals or birds

Items with strong or unpleasant odors

Excessive amounts of luggage

Flammable materials such as gunpowder or gasoline

Unauthorized firearms or swords
6. Gambling or any behavior that goes against public morals is strictly prohibited in guest rooms and hallways.
7. Inviting non-registered visitors into guest rooms to use facilities or amenities is prohibited.
8. Using guest rooms or the lobby as an office is not permitted.
9. Facilities and amenities in hallways or guest rooms may not be used for purposes other than their intended use.
10. Removing items from guest rooms or relocating them elsewhere in the hotel is prohibited.
11. Installing personal items or equipment anywhere in the building is not permitted.
12. Hanging items from guest room windows that may damage the appearance of the building is prohibited.
13. Distribution of flyers or conducting business activities within the hotel is prohibited.
14. Leaving luggage or personal belongings unattended in hallways or the lobby is not permitted.
15. Lost and found items will be kept for one month from the date of departure unless otherwise instructed.
16. Group reservations are limited to a maximum of four rooms.
If multiple reservations are made under different names, they may be canceled or refused at our discretion.
17. Check-in is available from 3:00 PM to 12:00 midnight.
Reservations that cannot be contacted may be canceled at our discretion.
18. Light cleaning during your stay (bed making, trash collection, towel replacement) is available only if you leave the room before 11:00 AM. Cleaning service is not available after that time.
19. Check-out time is 11:00 AM.
If luggage is left in the room after check-out, it may be removed and an additional one-night accommodation fee will be charged.
20. Luggage storage is available free of charge on the day of check-out.
If you plan to stay with us again, we offer free luggage storage for up to 5 days (up to 2 items per person).
After that, a storage fee of 500 yen per item per day will be charged.
The maximum storage period is 14 days.
The hotel is not responsible for the safety of guests’ personal belongings or valuables. Please ensure that important items are kept secure at all times.
21. By staying with us, you acknowledge and agree to House Ikebukuro’s personal information protection policy and consent to the storage and management of your personal information for reservation and accommodation purposes.
